Modern, sunny and very well situated, Ashley Heights enjoys views of Mt John, turquoise Lake Tekapo and the mountain ranges beyond. It’s elevated location is just a 4-minute drive from the village, or a 20 minute scenic walk down to the lakefront and the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen features floor-to-ceiling windows, perfectly positioned to capture panoramic Mackenzie Country views while filling the home with natural light. In summer, breezes flow through large doorways from the deck, while a cosy wood-burning fireplace provides winter warmth and a heat pump offers convenient year-round heating and cooling.

You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, large bathroom (gas hot water), separate second toilet, electric blankets, additional heaters and a full laundry. For relaxing evenings, there’s a TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, a selection of DVDs, board games and reading material for all ages.

A large deck captures all-day sun and is the perfect spot for outdoor meals, a BBQ or simply relaxing and enjoying the spectacular surroundings. On clear nights, it’s also a fantastic spot for stargazing.

Ashley Heights is pet-friendly and single-level with no stairs, making it easy to access. There is covered on-site parking with plenty of space for a boat, as well as great storage for recreational equipment.  Tekapo’s dog park is within walking distance, making it ideal for a morning stroll with your four-legged companion. 2 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY – may increase during peak periods. One night stay requests may be accepted depending on availability, and would incur a surcharge.
