Notre Maison Du Lac

Notre Maison Du Lac is a modern, self-contained holiday home offering comfort, space and incredible views of the Southern Alps and Lake Tekapo. It caters perfectly to families, couples, or small groups looking to enjoy a tranquil stay within walking distance of the Tekapo village shops & restaurants.  The name translates from French as ‘Our Home By The Lake’. The homeowners have proudly worked to make it one of Tekapo’s few holiday homes to be almost carbon neutral!

The spacious open-plan living area includes large windows to capture natural light and stunning views. The house is heated by a log burner and a heat pump, and with double glazing ensures you stay cosy in any weather.  Wake up in the master bedroom to beautiful views and an ensuite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms (all with electric blankets) and a second large bathroom makes this a very easy home to spend relaxing days and nights in.

The deck is ideal for stargazing in the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve or enjoy a sunny outdoor cookup on the BBQ.

• from $295 for 1-2 guests, depending on season.

Please note: Notre Maison du Lac is not recommended for very young children due to the landscaping.
